Frequently asked questions
How do I submit an order?
Mail physical casts and impression boxes to the lab with a completed order form — free USPS return labels are available by emailing orders@rxorthotic.com. For digital cases, email your order form and scan files to orders@rxorthotic.com, or place the order directly from your account on rxorthotic.com. We accept STL, OBJ and PLY files, plus iMed files from Techmed.
What is your turnaround time?
7-14 business days in-lab for custom foot orthotics, longer for braces and custom shoes. Rush service is available by phone.
Do you sell to patients directly?
No. RX Orthotic is a provider-only laboratory. All devices are prescribed and dispensed through licensed healthcare professionals.
What capture methods do you accept?
3D scans from our free iOS app, plaster casts, and foam impression boxes. Slipper casts and STL files from third-party scanners are also accepted.
What does the warranty cover?
Craftsmanship and materials for 6 months, — refurbishments and top-cover replacements at no charge during the adjustment window. Full terms on the warranty page.
How do adjustments and remakes work?
Send the device back with the Repair / Adjustment form. Most adjustments turn around in 14 days; remakes due to lab error are always free.
Do you provide shipping labels?
Yes — prepaid inbound labels for account holders.
What are the payment terms?
Approved accounts are invoiced Net 30. New accounts may prepay their first order while credit is established.
Can you match my current lab’s prescription style?
Yes. Send a recent Rx or a device you’re happy with and our pedorthists will translate it to our form — most switching practices do this for their first few orders.
